Be a partner to faculty, not an order-taker

A: "Don't be an order taker. Empathize deeply with them, understand their goals and make those goals your design guardrails. Gently redirect them when you have *evidence* that what they want is not in their own interest, the interest of creating something great. Constantly leave them overwhelmed with how prepared you are and how much value you bring to them in every interaction. Execute like a partner, not a vendor or like their staff."
